Gianna Centre
A pregnancy can become a crisis when it is complicated by things like school or career pressures, family tension, broken relationships, financial needs, or health concerns.
We offer free pregnancy tests, information about your options, referrals to doctors, housing and financial support programs, counselling, material support (maternity and baby items), and educational classes for expecting and new parents. Reach out and let us know what you need.
The Market
The Market is run collaboratively with Gianna Centre clients (moms), volunteers, and staff.
All profits go 100% to our clients who participate in running the Market. This initiative provides a supplemental income to those who work in the social enterprise initiative.
We offer pick up at the Gianna Centre Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
Please do not come to pick up your order until an email confirmation that your order is ready has been sent to you.
Yes! We do offer shipping. Please see details in item product description.
All food items are made in our commercially approved kitchen at the Gianna Centre. All who work in the kitchen are certified in AHS Food Safety Handling.
Our website is run by Square. Your payment information is securely processed through Square Payments. The Market at Gianna does not have access to customer payment information. To read more, click here.
Yes! The public Market will be back outdoors again in the summer. Market season runs from mid-May to mid-September on Thursdays from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Please send an email to gianna.centre@cssalberta.ca to be added to our market update list and find out when this season opens!
